Virgins
“Virgins was inspired by my coming of age in small town Louisiana. There is a sense of naivety that runs rampant through these isolated towns, and because this isolation is so insulating, it makes it difficult to make sense of all of the different emotions that are produced during these teenage years.

There was a fearless sense of adventure in the midst of my teenage identity struggle and many of the images in this series were taken of the people closest to me during this time in their lives as well. “Virgins” is a Louisiana tale of teenagehood. We were up to nothing, but in search of everything!”
