White Metamorphosis

“The metamorphosis, openness, healing, the end of the difficulties, change, new motivations, the awakening, revelation, the evolution. Something must be let go because he has no reason to be..”

Chiara Mazzocchi

Visual and Performance Artist based in Berlin.

“Art is not entertainment, but it is a challenge to think, it is a provocation, often a disturbance. It is a constant search for the truth. Art is a transparent dialogue between me and the idea that comes to me as a dream, almost a secret. For this reason, I believe art doesn’t exist. The realization is secondary, it’s a physical necessity to tell the fragments of the dream…of love, fear, discomfort. Art exists as a code that you reprocess in time fertilizing the spirit of the viewer fueling the miserable reality. A vision condensed in the network of time and in the paroxysm of space. The reason for which my research is based on photo/video self-portraits in which my body donates itself freely as a symbolic and psychophysical means of exchange in relation to myself, space and the system (performances). My “art” deals with social and humanistic themes involving the individual as the human consciousness, the precariousness of existence, but also the daily fatigue supported by the human being to integrate into a society that requires approval to established norms.”
