Light Forms Grey Forms Dark Forms
“Light Forms Grey Forms Dark Forms is a project started in 2013 as a reflection on mystical facets of crepuscular life in unremarkable areas of city nature.
The black and white images focus on my own moving body featured as an amorphous shape, nearly unidentifiable as a human figure whirling into the landscape. For this project, I use different locations, all within an urban area, not far from my house.
These places are recognizable and boring to me during the daylight and unknown and weird in the dark. The original attempt to capture the myth of this semi-dark life, led me to the ritual when for 10 seconds of camera exposure.
I feel myself as an element of the wild-land, as a piece of dead tree or a pile of grass.”
