Little presence
Let’s play a game.
I want to disguise myself in order to appear in front of you.
I cannot stand you looking at me , bare, like that.
I want you to see me , but maybe it is better behind a mask. I want you to like me, to play together. Me, changing faces, and you, revealing me time after time. To lose myself, each time, until I find the real me, the real you.
How often are we present in our lives, have you ever thought about it? If we count all the meals we have never enjoyed, the songs we never heard, the moments that passed us by, because we were lost in thoughts, would we be shocked, you think?
This is a story that has to do with presence and intimacy. This is a task for me. Getting closer. To whom? to me, to you? Can you feel intimate all alone in an empty room? Or you have to look to another set of eyes?
