Is the soldier an executioner, a victim or a hero? The exhibition In War and Peace is about soldiers as depicted by photographers, both on and off the battlefield. See some of the world’s most famous war photographers and iconic images of war, such as the little girl from Vietnam, and other captivating portraits of life at the front. In War and Peace is also about the power of photography, and how, over the course of a century, our attitudes to war have been deeply influenced by the subjective lenses of photographers. The exhibition has been produced in collaboration with the  Danish photojournalist, Jan Grarup.
